Just days after winning her second Grammy Award for Album of the Year, Taylor Swift has once again bagged another award.
The 26-year old hit maker won the 2016 NME Award for Best International Solo Artist Wednesday night at the O2 Academy, South London.
The singer was surprised to receive the award via mail. Taylor’s pre-recorded speech was played during the awards ceremony. She thanked her fans for voting for her and went on to talk about the award.
“I got the award in the mail, and I gotta be honest with you about this: When you first open up the box, this feels a little aggressive. Then you get used to it. You put in on the shelf like, you know what, I kind of like it. It’s kind of like, LOL. First impressions were a little weird here, but now I understand that this is actually like a strange compliment.”
