Will Smith has been busy as of late promoting his critically-acclaimed movie Concussion overseas.
The 47-year old actor touched back down to Los Angeles on January 29 where he was all smiles as he greeted his fans.
Smith was recently interviewed at The Graham Norton Show where he was asked about the lack of diversity controversy that is plaguing this year’s Academy awards.
“There is no us and them. It’s we. I’m a member of the Academy… For me, it’s more about putting my hand up and reminding my community, the Hollywood community, that we have to lead. That diversity is America’s superpower. That’s what makes our country great,” Will said.
He added, ” If you lead with love and light, good is always going to come out of it.”
Words of wise man indeed.
