Fabulously Spotted: Kate Middleton Wearing Jenny Packham – Queen Elizabeth II Portrait Unveiled At Government House

Who: Kate Middleton aka Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

Dress: The Duchess looked gorgeous in a black slash neck, full sleeve LBD by her favorite designer Jenny Packham. Earlier in the day for an outside reception we spotted Kate in Alexander McQueen.

With the simplicity of the dress Kate decided to sent a message to her subjects down under in the form of the New Zealand silver fern flag which is a quasi-national emblem used by the national sports teams, the one dollar coin, and coat of arms strategically placed on the left shoulder against the black backdrop.

Kate styled the look with a classic black clutch, diamond stud earrings, matching diamond bracelet and her famous wedding ring.

Event: Art unveiling of a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II during Day 4 of a Royal Tour to New Zealand at Government House on April 10, 2014 in Wellington, New Zealand. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are on a three-week tour of Australia and New Zealand, the first official trip overseas with their son, Prince George of Cambridg
