The U.S President Barack Obama, with First Lady Michelle Obama, their two daughters Sasha and Malia, Michelle’s mom Marian Robinson, and close relatives are currently on their 8 day tour of the African Continent.
The 3 country tour has so far taken them to Dakar, Senegal on the West Coast, the Republic of South Africa, and later Tanzania, the East of Africa.

Leaving Washington, DC, Mrs. Obama wore one of her favorite designer Narcisco Rodriguez resort 2008 striped dress with black flat shoes and a tote bag.
We first saw her wear this dress at a Florida campaign rally back in 2008 during the heat of the 08 U.S. presidential elections.
A back to back for Narcisco Rodriguez, she wore one of his tops on their recent European Tour.
Arriving at Dakar’s Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport, the first lady of fashion look lovely in a 1930’s Parisian dance inspired airy Zero Maria Cornejo graphic printed pre-fall 2013 dress 1/3 length sleeves accentuated at the waist with a jeweled belt.
For the inspection of the Guard of Honor at the Presidential Palace and a private meeting with First Lady Marieme Faye Sall, Michelle opted for a white floral Jason Wu chiffon dress with green kitten heels and a tiny black belt.
Later in the day, a somber Michelle and Barack paid a visit to ‘Goree Island’ ‘The Door of No Return’ slave house in Dakar, Senegal.
She wore a silk printed blouse from the pre-fall 2013 collection of Zero + Maria Cornejo, a designer she wore for the welcome ceremony at the airport.
For the official State Dinner held in honor of the first couple, Mrs. Obama wore a refreshed Naeem Khan silk printed ball gown. One of her favorites, Mr. Khan added a square neckline and sleeves.
