Hi fabulous!! After a quite summer, September came with a vengeance. I had to prepare for New York Fashion Week and then endure the unwanted alarm clock noise telling me to get up, dress, and then appear half awake through the painful NYC traffic. Whom ever invented sunglasses, thank you so much!
I couldn’t wait to get back to Philly. On the train from New York with my boo Sai, I thought to myself I deserve some rest. Then I remember, the Philadelphia collection, a week of fashion shows, fashion events and parties.
Not to miss out like last year, I accepted the invition to attended the ‘Philadelphia Fashion Incubator’ Fashion Show at Macy’s center city (Will Post later), plus the Philadelphia Style Magazine Fall Fashion Cover party honoring Allentown, Pennsylvania native Carson Kressley.
Philadelphia Style hosted an exclusive VIP event with Fall Fashion cover star Carson Kressley for 200 guests at Sofitel on September 20. Guests sipped on Russian Standard® Vodka specialty cocktails and enjoyed upscale hors d’oeuvres and fare in the Sofitel’s Liberté Lounge. This event also doubled as an unofficial wrap for The Philadelphia Collection—a seven-day celebration of Philadelphia fashion.

The ‘Cashman and Associates’ CEO who got marry to Nigel Richards over the summer, shows how you can work a menswear inspire blazer pantsuit without sacrificing femininity. I want that oversize fuschia tie Nicole! John Colabeli looks dapper in his two piece suit.
(below) The lovely Janelle Moore, Style Consultant for J Hilburn Men’s Clothier (Philadelphia Office). I saw tons of color as I work the room but, I also appreciate a lady in black. I get it, FALL PARTY. Love her retro look. Thanks to a strapless Alexander McQueen sheath. In a nod to the late British designer she topped it off with the quintessential British statement headpiece, a Fascinator! Beaded Middle Eastern wrap provided coverage.
